Training Courses for Clients, Family Members and Friends of Clients
We are currently running training courses on Tuesdays afternoons between 2pm – 4pm for our care workers. We would be more than happy for any clients, family members or friends of clients to attend any of these courses free of charge. It can be a good way to meet the carers delivering care, to understand our job role more, as well as increasing your knowledge of certain areas you may be unsure of, gain more insight about a family member or friend that you support and their medical conditions.
The courses we deliver include equality and diversity, person centred care, communication, safe food handling, mental health awareness, dementia awareness, learning disabilities, basic life support, moving and handling, medications, safeguarding adults and infection control.
Please phone our office for the dates of courses being delivered.
