How it all started

Carers and Companions began when Penny Clark felt she needed support to help with her mother who was suffering from dementia. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength and has become a leading care provider within the Wharfevalley Area.

Our Carers

All of our carers are handpicked and make up an exceptional team of care workers.  We believe that it is the diversity of our carers that has been the foundation of such a successful business.  It takes a variety of personalities to provide a service to a varied cross section of people. With a client base ranging from ages 18 to 100 it is important to have the appropriate carers to carry out the personalised care packages that we offer.

All our carers are security checked and undertake an induction programme that ensures they are trained to the highest standard. This is then followed by continual training and professional development with NVQ qualifications.

Our Clients

The home care service is available to any person over 18 who maybe in need of community care.  Its not just the elderly we look after, we also provide care and support to a wide range of people.  These are people with; physical difficulties, sensory loss, nervous and mental health illness, learning difficulties, a terminal illness or people who are struggling to live.
